YETI is a sacred and mysterious being
deeply rooted in Himalayan folklore —
known to many as the “Abominable Snowman.”
Guided by the culture and heritage
of my Himalayan mother,
I have spent more than 25 years
traveling through the mountain regions of Nepal.
Wild spices, medicinal herbs,
and the wisdom of people living in harmony with nature.
Walking through the mountains became
a journey of learning from the gifts of the Earth.
Within the harsh yet abundant wilderness,
I felt the blessings, stories, and spirit
held within the mountains and natural world.
Those memories and that spirit
are woven into the name: YETI.
A new beer project
born from the gifts of the Himalayas
and authentic stories from the journey.
From Hakuba,
where I found a resonance with the Himalayas.
While traveling through the Himalayas,
I came to feel the sacred atmosphere
of the mountains.
After moving to Hakuba
and immersing myself in the nature of the Japan Alps,
I discovered a world that resonated deeply with the Himalayas.
Mountains where glaciers still remain.
Nature beyond human control.
A land that nurtures water and life.
Nature knows no borders.
The spice culture I encountered in the Himalayas
and the pure waters of the Japan Alps.
As these two worlds came together,
a new story began.

Why Spice Beer?
For generations in the Himalayas,
spices and medicinal herbs
have been deeply woven into everyday life and food culture.
Aroma.
Warmth.
The power of nature.
They were never simply seasonings,
but a culture that connected people with nature.
The “Spice Beer” once served in Ebisu, Tokyo,
brought many people
a new sense of wonder and experience.
And now,
wild Himalayan spices
meet the pure waters of the Japan Alps,
as a new story begins to unfold.
