YETI Spice Beer
A New Craft Beer Born from
Natural Himalayan Spices
and the Pure Waters of Hakuba
For generations in the Himalayas,
spices and medicinal herbs
have been an integral part of daily life and food culture.
Nurtured within a harsh yet abundant natural environment,
they became part of the wisdom,
traditions, and way of life
passed down through generations.
Aroma.
Warmth.
The power of nature.
They are more than seasonings.
They represent a culture that connects people and nature.
YETI Spice Beer is
a new craft beer born from the fusion of
rare natural Himalayan spice extracts
and the pure waters of Hakuba,
nourished by the snowmelt of the Japanese Alps.
By carefully blending these natural ingredients
through the brewing process,
we aim to create a beer with distinctive character,
rich aroma,
and remarkable depth of flavor.
The origins of this journey date back to 1999,
at a Nepalese restaurant in Ebisu, Tokyo,
called Khumbila.
There,
I created what became known as
"Masala Beer."
For more than 25 years,
it has continued to be enjoyed
at a scale of approximately 30,000 servings each year,
and remains one of Khumbila's signature menu items today.
And now,
natural Himalayan spices
meet the pure waters of Hakuba.
A new story is about to begin.
We are now looking for the first companions
to help bring this journey to life.
Product development has been underway for over 25 years.
Why This Project?
Why This Journey Begins with Community
For more than 25 years,
I have been working between
Nepal, India,
and Hakuba,
creating connections between people and nature,
and between one culture and another.
EarthLove,
Hakuba Diner,
and Hakuba House
are all part of that ongoing journey.
Along the way,
I have encountered communities
that live in harmony with nature,
rich in wisdom, culture,
and a spirit of mutual support.
I believe that true prosperity comes not from everyone being the same,
but from people embracing their unique strengths and roles,
and thriving together.
YETI Spice Beer is no exception.
It is not simply about brewing beer.
It is a small bridge
connecting the Himalayas and Hakuba—
two mountain cultures—
while cultivating new prosperity,
possibilities, and hope.
The Himalayas and Hakuba.
Nature and people.
Culture and culture.
When different worlds come together,
new opportunities,
new prosperity,
and new hope can emerge.
That is the future I believe in.
Of course,
if raising capital were the only objective,
there are other paths—
such as loans or investment.
Yet for this first step,
I chose to reach out
to friends, supporters,
and the communities
I have built relationships with over the years.

I hope to build together
from the very beginning.

While traveling through the Himalayas,
I came to know
the atmosphere of its sacred mountains.
After moving to Hakuba
and spending time in the Japanese Alps,
I discovered a landscape
that deeply resonated with what I had experienced in the Himalayas.
Glacier-carved mountains.
Nature beyond human control.
Land that nourishes water, life, and communities.
And people who live
with a deep respect for nature.
Though separated by great distance,
these two mountain regions
share many similarities.
In fact,
the development of mountain trails and lodges
in Hakuba and the Northern Alps
has long been supported by people from Nepal.
It is a history of mountain communities
sharing knowledge, skills,
and support across borders.
Nature recognizes no borders.
Natural Himalayan spices
and the pure waters of Hakuba.
When these two mountain cultures come together,
new prosperity,
new connections,
and new possibilities can emerge.

and refining the recipe
until we achieve the aroma and flavor
we truly envision.

spice sourcing,
prototype brewing,
design development,
brand building & creation,
establishing sales system,
and other essential startup costs.
Of course,
there are other ways to raise capital,
such as loans or investment.
But before taking those paths,
I wanted to begin this journey

and communities I have met along the way.

is not simply a product to be developed.

to develop the first YETI Spice Beer prototype.

Looking Ahead
Following the prototype development phase,

while growing YETI into a brand inspired by the spirit of the Japanese Alps.
We are also working toward commercialization, sales infrastructure development, strategic utilization of the YETI brand, intellectual property protection, and the creation of a sustainable foundation for long-term growth.
Our current goal is to raise ¥3.8 million by July 20, 2026.
Upon reaching this milestone, prototype brewing will begin,
with the first commercial release of YETI Spice Beer targeted for Autumn 2026.
