Himalayan Royal Pashmina only for EarthLove
What is Himalayan Royal Pashmina?

サンプル

This might seem sudden, but have you ever experienced wearing real pashmina?
Its thinness and lightness give it an incredible amount of warmth, which is quite surprising.
As it is a fiber, the weight varies depending on the fineness of the thread and the weaving method, but typically a single piece of pashmina (60cm x 200cm) weighs around 50g-100g. Thinner versions are so thin that you can pass a ring through them, yet they provide more warmth and comfort than a jacket.

Genuine pashmina is such a precious fabric (fiber) that it is also known as the "diamond of the textile world."

The etymology of pashmina is

The goat is called Pashun in the local language.

The temperature of the Himalayas, which is located south of Okinawa in terms of latitude, is higher than expected, and there is a temperature difference beyond imagination.
During spring day, it rises to nearly 50 degrees Celsius
At night when the sun goes down, it quickly reaches -30 degrees.

The hair is very delicate and soft,
It has excellent heat retention and breathability.

In Nepal, only products made from the finest, softest, and warmest downy hairs collected from the chest of the Himalayan goat (pashun), woven through 16 different processes, are allowed to be called "pashmina."

If you actually touch it, you'll immediately notice the difference in its smooth texture.

The reason why it's called "royal" beyond cashmere...

In Japan, pashmina became widely known several decades ago when it was used in Paris Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week.
However, because genuine pashmina was so rare and difficult to obtain, most of the items that entered Japan at the time were fakes.
What was being sold as "pashmina" was of a completely different quality from genuine pashmina, but the market, unfamiliar with the real thing, apparently believed that pashmina mixed with cashmere or silk (sometimes just wool) was genuine and traded it...

The ancient history of pashmina

The history of Himalayan pashmina is ancient. In the 18th century, Emperor Napoleon, who was leading the expanding French army, encountered pashmina that had been transported to Mecca via the Silk Road . He brought some back for his wife, Josephine, who spread the word to her friends and nobles, and everyone was captivated by the beauty of pashmina .

Himalayan pashmina remains beloved by nobility and the upper class throughout Europe , cherished as a royal gift exchanged as a token of affection ...

First landing in Japan! Nepalese government certification
The charm of Himalayan Royal Pashmina

In Nepal, the government-certified "Changra Pashmina Association" currently strictly controls the quality of pashmina.
EarthLove's Himalayan Royal Pashmina, produced in a factory directly owned by a director of the association , is manufactured to stricter standards and higher quality than other companies' pashmina , and is a top-of-the-line product using yarn made from the undercoat of Himalayan goats, more than twice the amount used in regular pashmina (equivalent to 5-10 goats) .

*The pashmina in the video is a custom-made shawl from Breguet in Switzerland.
Every year, we receive orders for EarthLove's Royal Pashmina as gifts for our regular customers who purchase luxury watches.

Earth Conscious Ethical Pashmina

However, to avoid putting stress on the goats during the pashmina making process , only the softest and most delicate downy hair is carefully collected during the spring when their fur is shedding.

We don't use the hair from the back or legs; instead, we use only the finest and softest hair from under the chin and on the chest, which amounts to only about 50g per goat.

Furthermore, it is a very ethical product , using unique dyes that do not harm the natural environment .

"Guaranteed"

Cashmere products are often counterfeit or of poor quality, such as those containing only a small amount of cashmere instead of being 100% cashmere. However, the "Changra Pashmina Association" attaches a globally recognized product number and QR code to all of its products , so you can purchase with confidence.

How to use and applications of pashmina:
By considering how you'll use it, and choosing not only the sheen and design of the fibers but also the size and thickness, you can comfortably use it in a variety of situations for most of the year.

It can also be used as a substitute for a jacket or coat, so we recommend keeping a lightweight pashmina in your bag during the summer when temperature differences between indoors and outdoors are a concern, to help you stay comfortable.

Also, since the most common size is the 200cm long type, we recommend wrapping it around your neck two or three times during the colder seasons to enjoy the luxurious volume of the fibers.

Because pashmina is made from a single fiber, you can use it in various ways, such as a gown to cover your entire body, or as a scarf, shawl, or lap blanket, without being limited by its shape.
